I'm trying to understand what you wrote:
Most gliders (that is the "good" ones

, big) will have quadro flaps, i.e. 4 servos in the wing used for:
1 AIL Left
2 FLAP Left
3 FLAP right
4 AIL right
Normal flight, neutral: 1+2+3+4 without deflection
thermal flight: 2+3 down, ie. 5 degrees, 1+4 down, ie. 4 degrees (ELEVATOR compensates pitching moment)
crow/butterfly: 2+3 down, ie 30 degrees, 1+4 up ie, 30 degrees (ELEVATOR compensates pitching moment)
Can these 3 flight modes be used with FBW?
